Working with offline shares

If your GCF site loses its connection to a remote GCF share for some reason, the share becomes an offline share. You can still work with the share with the following limitations:

• Document transfers will not occur until the offline share is back online again.
• You will not see current status information for remote documents on the GCF Management page.
• You cannot transfer ownership to the share or claim ownership from the share.
